Kuala Lumpur City Hall Launches MYSMS |

![]() Kuala Lumpur City Hall welcomed the government’s effort to improve the service delivery to city dwellers by setting up the MYSMS also known as the Government SMS Portal. MYSMS is a Government initiative to introduce 1 number 15888 for all government agencies. Starting from there, Kuala Lumpur City Hall held a launching ceremony for MYSMS and DBKL Summons Update Mobile App at the DBKL Auditorium, Menara BDKL 1 on the 18th of June 2012 (Monday). ![]() The launch ceremony was officiated by Ybhg Tan Sri Ahmad Fuad Ismail, Mayor of Kuala Lumpur who was accompanied by Ybhg. Datuk Haji Salleh Yusop, Director General of Kuala Lumpur City Hall as well as the deputy director generals of City Hall. In his official speech, Ybhg Tan Sri Ahmad Fuad Ismail saidn that through MYSMS DBKL, four services can be accessed. Summons Update, Traffic, Business License Application Status, Public Complaints via SMS and Counter Rating. “For the mobile application, DBKL offers traffic and general summons updates through smartphone application”. He also stated that for the MYSMS Counter Rating, Kuala Lumpur City Hall is a pioneer agency to provide this service that is monitored by MAMPU under the Strategic Reform Initiatives. “This system provides the opportunity for customers to give feedback regarding the quality of the services rendered at the Kuala Lumpur City Hall Counters. For the beginning, we have involved only 47 counters”, he added. |
