![]() For the first time, Kuala Lumpur City Hall, through its Health and Environment Department, held a seminar entitled Cleanliness and Safety of Public Toilets, Kuala Lumpur City Hall Level 2012 on the 17th of July 2012 (Monday). The one day seminar was officiated by YBhg. Datuk Salleh Yusop, Director General of Kuala Lumpur City Hall at the DBKL Aditorium, Menara DBKL 1. According to YBhg. Datuk Salleh, it is hoped that this seminar will be an eye opener for the public towards the culture of maintaining the cleanliness of public toilets in order to improve the image of public toilets in Kuala Lumpur. “I hope that this seminar will more or less be impactful for the participants who will spread the importance of maintaining public toilets for the good of all. This is important in realising our dream of making Kuala Lumpur a world class city”, he added. Aside from the internal department of Kuala Lumpur City Hall, also involved were representatives of restaurant owners and hawkers, the Federal Territories Association of Hawkers and Restaurants, Solid Waste Management and Public Cleanliness Corporation and Messrs. Alam Flora Sdn Bhd. Speaker who were presenting their working papers in the seminar were from QRAM, Denai Biru Sdn Bhd and PLUS Expressways Berhad. |
