First Mini UTC at Sentul

By taking population density and basic amenities into consideration, the Mini Urban Transformation Centre (UTC) at Bandar Baru Sentul is the first Mini UTC in the country which was constructed with a cost of RM 7.7 million. The Sentul Mini UTC is expected to be beneficial to about 300,000 residents in the area through the services that it will provide.

According to Yang Berhormat Dato’ Raja Nong Chik Dato Raja Zainal Abidin, Minister of Federal Territories and Urban Wellbeing, the Business and Community Complex in Bandar Baru Sentul, which is the property of Kuala Lumpur City Hall, was renovated in order to realize the Service Under One Roof Concept.

“This three storey building has been operational since last March, houses a few private sector offices and government departments such as National Registry, Road Transport Department, Immigration Department and Pos Malaysia”, he added. He was speaking at the launch ceremony of the Sentul Mini UTC and Business & Community Complex, Bandar Baru Sentul, 16 March 2013 (Saturday). Also present were Yang Berbahagia Datuk Seri Ahmad Phesal Haji Talib, Mayor of Kuala Lumpur.

He also stated that two more Mini UTCs will be developed each at the Keramat Mall, Keramat and Dataran Angkasa, Lembah Pantai.
