THE deadline for stakeholders to submit feedback on the draft Kuala Lumpur Structure Plan 2040 (KLSP2040) has been extended to April 18. Kuala Lumpur mayor Datuk Nor Hisham Ahmad Dahlan has agreed to extend the deadline by a month, following requests from several Kuala Lumpur MPs and stakeholders. “The extension would allow for stakeholders, who were previously unable to view the draft plans, to submit their feedback. “This is in line with Kuala Lumpur City Hall’s (DBKL) aim to provide all city folk a chance to give input on the draft plans, ” said DBKL Corporate Planning Department director Khairul Azmir Ahmad in a statement.Baca selanjutnya

Akta itu memerlukan Datuk Bandar menyediakan pelan pembangunan bagi memandu pembangunan di Kuala Lumpur dengan merangkumi dua pelan utama iaitu Pelan Struktur dan Pelan Tempatan. Pelan Tempatan juga boleh berada dalam bentuk pelan kawasan tindakan. KUALA LUMPUR: The wait for the Kuala Lumpur City Plan 2020 will finally be over as it is expected to be gazetted this year. Lembah Pantai MP Fahmi Fadzil disclosed this today, commenting on a written reply he received from Federal Territories Minister Khalid Samad on the matter. He said that he and other members of parliament from the capital would be meeting Kuala Lumpur mayor Tan Sri Mohd Amin Nordin Abdul Aziz to form a consultative council to discuss the plan. Khalid, who is Shah Alam MP, in his written reply said the Pakatan Harapan government would take full responsibility in the gazettement of the plan even though there were only a couple of years remaining before reaching 2020. KUALA LUMPUR: The Federal Territories Ministry has called on the public to contribute their ideas and feedback on the KL 2040 Draft Structure Plan (PSKL2040). Minister Khalid Samad said they could do so throughout the PSKL2040 exhibition from Feb 18 until March 18 at Menara DBKL 1. He said the ministry and City Hall (DBKL) would extend the timeline to receive the feedbacks until May. THE social demographics of Kuala Lumpur are changing and the Kuala Lumpur Structure Plan 2040 (KLSP2040) will play a critical role in ensuring the city’s development complements its new social landscape. Federal Territories Minister Khalid Abdul Samad said among key factors which would define the city were slower population growth, higher number of senior citizens and smaller average households. “The city’s population is expected to grow at 1.05% annually and projected to reach 2.25 million people by 2040. “Of this figure, 17.3% will comprise the elderly aged 65 and above.
