Background Department

The Economic Planning & Development Department (JPEP) terbahagi kepada 2 bahagian utama fungsi seperti berikut :

Bahagian Pentadbiran dan Pembangunan

  1. Mengurus tadbir hal-hal berkaitan pentadbiran dan kewangan Jabatan..
  2. Coordinate and process applications and telecommunication structure implementations in Kuala Lumpur
  3. Merangka dan menyedia pelaporan Outcome bagi projek-projek pembangunan yang telah dilaksanakan.
  4. Merancang, memantau, menyelaras, menyedia dan mengagih peruntukkan bajet pembangunan bagi projek-projek pembangunan yang ingin dilaksanakan.
  5. Menyelaras pembangunan infrastruktur dan bekalan Projek Kecil.
  6. Administer and monitor the allocation quota of Bumiputera unit property as well as coordinate the application for Bumiputera unit property release
  7. Manage matter that related to administration and department finance

Privatization Unit

  1. Coordinate acquisition and implementation for privatization project
  2. Menentukan hala tuju/dasar/garis panduan kesesuaian tanah untuk dibangunkan projek penswastaan melalui penjualan tanah, usahasama land swap dan pajakan
  3. The intermediate medium for citizens for any application affairs regarding to "Rumah Mampu Milik Wilayah Persekutuan" (Resdensi Wilayah)
  4. Process application for housing/commercial unit transfer which have not obtain the strata status

OBJECTIVE

FUNCTION

  1. To coordinate development budget preparation and allocation of financial resources for development projects;
  2. To coordinate and monitor the implementation of development projects;
  3. To evaluate progress and achievements of development and privatization projects;
  4. To identify and research studies on socio-economics; and
  5. To coordinate actions and feedback with social and political institution, together with government agencies and private companies outside DBKL.
