In order to further enhance the implementation of traffic control duties around the city center, the department has taken several improvement initiatives by deploying traffic wardens at several road intersections to smoothen traffic movement so that congestion is kept at a minimum level. The identified intersections are as follows:

  1. Jalan Sg. Besi

  2. Jalan Istana

  3. Jalan Mahameru

  4. Intersection of Jalan Duta and Jalan Kuching

  5. Ramp of Jalan Sultan Ismail

  6. Jalan Dewan Bahasa and Pustaka / Jalan Hang Tuah

  7. Jalan Sultan Ismail / Jalan P. Ramlee

  8. Jalan Imbi / Jalan Sultan Ismail

  9. Jalan Raja Chulan / Jalan P. Ramlee

  10. Dato Onn Roundabout

  11. Jalan Dang Wangi / Jalan Raja Abdullah

  12. Jalan Tun Perak / Jalan Tun H.S. Lee

  13. Jalan Raja Abdullah (AKLEH)

  14. Jalan Parlimen / Jalan Mahameru

  15. Jalan Tun Perak / Jalan Hang Lekir
