Traffic Management Permit Application Issued by the City Transport Department
Every party that wants to carry out activities that result in disruption of traffic flow, or road closures must apply for a permit and approval from DBKL. This is aimed at controlling and monitoring the activity as well as ensuring the safety of road users.
Some of the permits and management plans involved are:
Heavy Vehicle Movement Permit – material transport truck permit and limited time passage permit
Traffic Management Plan – dredging/excavation works
Public Road Temporary Closure Permit (not exceeding 3 days)
Activities that require a Temporary Closure Permit
Often some ceremonies require space on the road to set up tents and stages to enliven the ceremony. Therefore, the parties involved need to apply for a Temporary Closure Permit that does not exceed 3 days for the following activities:
Events organized by the Ministry, government agencies or private companies
Product promotions in the commercial areas of Taman Perumahan
Small-scale events such as Family Day, wedding, death
